Actor Vijay Deverakonda, who is gearing up for his upcoming film Family Star, praised his co-star Mrunal Thakur for her acting prowess.

In his promotional interview for the YouTube channel Galatta Plus, the actor said Mrunal Thakur has a "beautiful face". He added that the actress can convey emotions easily because "of the geometry of her nose lips and eyes" even if she doesn't understand a language well.

Trailer of the film that is releasing on April 5 shows how the protagonist's (Vijay Deverakonda) conservative ways puts an end to his marital bliss with his wife (Mrunal Thakur). The film will focus on how the overcomes the rift and brings his family together.

While Vijay and Mrunal are pairing up for the first time, Parasuram will direct Vijay for the second time after Geetha Govindham. Apart from the leads, Vennela Kishore, Jagapathi Babu and Rohini Hattangadi feature in important roles.

Family Star's technical team includes cinematographer KU Mohanann, editor Marthand K Venkatesh, music director Gopi Sundar and AS Prakash as the art director.

The film produced by Dil Raju and Shirish under the Sri Venkateswara Creations will be released on April 5.
