The makers of Tiger Nageswara Rao on Tuesday have announced that they will be unveiling the film's trailer on October 3. The film will be released on October 20. Ravi Teja is headlining this film, based on the life of the eponymous thief from Stuartpuram, Andhra Pradesh.

Tiger Nageswara Rao is directed by Vamsee, who has previously directed Kittu Unnaadu Jagratha. Srikanth Vissa, who has been previously associated with Vamsee in Kittu Unnaadu Jagratha, has written Tiger Nageswara Rao. This film marks the Telugu debut of Nupur Sanon, Kriti Sanon's younger sister. She has previously starred in the Disney + Hotstar variety comedy sketch show Pop Kaun, in addition to featuring in a music video opposite Akshay Kumar titled Filhall. Gayatri Bharadwaj, Murali Sharma, Anupam Kher and Renu Desai form a part of the film's supporting cast. 

Tiger Nageswara Rao is produced by Abhishek Aggarwal under the banner Abhishek Aggarwal Arts. GV Prakash Kumar is the music director of the film, with cinematography by R Madhie and production design by Avinash Kolla. Tiger Nageswara Rao is Ravi Teja's third film of 2023, after Waltair Veerayya and Ravanasura.
