GTA, a film based on the eponymous video game is all set to hit the theaters on October 6. The film is set to be an action drama. Chaithanya Pasupuleti and Heena Rai star in the film as the male and female leads respectively.

GTA is produced by Ashwatthama Productions and helmed by director Deepak Sidhanth. It is his maiden directorial. The film is currently in post production.

Lyricist turned film director Krishna Chaitanya, who is currently helming the Vishwak Sen starrer Gangs of Godavari has unveiled the release poster of the film. Speaking about the film, Krishna Chaitanya said, "I wish the success for the upcoming GTA movie with a new concept, and said that this movie is coming with a catchy title to connect with 90 kids and it will bring back nostalgic memories."

GTA also stars Sudarshan, Srikanth Iyengar, Sethu Kumannan, Lobo, Roopa Lakshmi, Rocky and Chitram Sreenu, among others. The music of the film is composed by Mark K Robin. KV Prasad provided the cinematography for this movie, while Garry BH handled the editing. The makers are yet to unveil the film's trailer.
