The first look poster of Bharathanatyam, an upcoming film headlined by newcomers, has been unveiled. The film is the maiden project of Surya Teja Aelay, the son of publicity designer Dhani Aelay. Surya has also written the film. Meenakshi Goswami is the female lead of the film. KVR Mahendra, who has made his directorial debut with the romantic drama Dorasani is helming Bharathanatyam. It may be noted that Dorasani also featured the then-newcomers Anand Deverakonda and Shivatmika Rajashekar in the lead roles. Bharathanatyam also stars Viva Harsha, Harshavardhan, Ajay Ghosh, Salim Pheku and Temper Vamsi. 

The film's poster has Surya Teja lying down, while the faces of the other characters in the film are present in the poster. Before the first look was unveiled, a poster with the words "Cinema is the most beautiful fraud in the world" came out first, indicating to its viewers that the film may have some meta themes revolving around the act of filmmaking. Bharathanatyam has wrapped its shoot and is currently in post production.
