The makers of Skanda have released the announcement poster of Cult Mama, an item song from their film. The full song will be out on September 18. Skanda is scheduled to release on September 28. Cult Mama is an item number featuring actor, dancer and former pageant winner Urvashi Rautela. Urvashi has featured in dance numbers earlier this year in Chiranjeevi’s Waltair Veerayya and Pawan Kalyan’s Bro. It may be noted that Skanda was initially scheduled to hit theatres on September 15. The film had eventually pushed its release date window by two weeks, releasing on September 28, in the light of Salaar indefinitely postponing their release. 

Skanda stars Ram Pothineni in the lead role, alongside Sreeleela and Saiee Manjrekar. Gauthami, Srikanth, Prince Cecil and Raja Daggubati, among others, feature in supporting roles. Skanda is written and directed by Boyapati Sreenu, with cinematography by Santosh Detake and editing by Tammiraju. The music of the film is composed by Thaman. Skanda is produced by Srinivasaa Chitturi under the banner Srivasaa Shine Screens, in association with Zee Studios.
