Nikhil heads to Vietnam for a month to train for Swayambhu

We had recently announced about Swayambhu, Nikhil Siddhartha’s period actioner. The film, which recently went on floors, stars Samyuktha as its female lead. The makers of the film announced on Thursday that Nikhil will be heading to Vietnam for a month to train for the action sequences in the film. He will receive training in weapons, martial arts and horse riding. [

The statement released by the film’s team also announces that some of the biggest stunt masters of Saigon will be training Nikhil. He will also be undergoing a complete physical makeover for the film. Swayambhu is Nikhil’s most high-budget and physically demanding role to date. It is also his 20th film.


Swayambhu is produced by Bhuvan and Sreekar under the banner Pixel Studios. It is presented by Tagore Madhu. The film’s dialogues have been penned by Vasudev Muneppagari. Manoj Paramahamsa, who has worked as a cinematographer for Radhe Shyam and Prince, will also be cranking the camera for Swayambhu. Ravi Basrur is the music composer of the film, with production design by M Prabhaharan. 


Nikhil was last seen in the Garry BH directorial Spy. In addition to Swayambhu, he is also scheduled to appear next in The India House.
