The official trailer of Athidhi, a horror web series headlined by actor Venu Thottempudi, has been unveiled on Friday. The series will be streaming from September 19 onwards on Disney + Hotsar. Venu, a known face in 90s and 00s Telugu cinema, is making his OTT debut with this series. He has recently made his comeback with the 2022 Ravi Teja starrer Ramarao On Duty.

Athidhi is the latest Disney + Hotstar Telugu Original series, following the likes of Dead Pixels, Save The Tigers, Dayaa, and Shaitan, which have released earlier this year. Venu plays a horror novelist named Ravi in the film, with the rest of the trailer revealing instances of the film's cast either getting scared or scaring others.  Avantika Mishra is the series' female lead. Aditi Gautam, Venkatesh Kakumanu, Ravi Varma, Bhadram, Chanakya Teja, Gayatri Chaganti and Pooja play crucial roles in Athidhi.

Athidhi is written and directed by Bharath YG and produced by Praveen Sattaru, who has recently helmed Varun Tej's Gandeevadhari Arjuna, which released last month. Kapil Kumar is the series' music composer, with cinematography by Manojh Katasani, editing by Dharmendra Kakarala and production design by Sahi Suresh.
