Video of Kushi's title song is out

As Kushi maintains a successful run at the theatres since its release on September 1, on Wednesday, the makers unveiled the video of the title song. The song featuring the lead cast, Vijay Devarakonda and Samantha Ruth Prabu, is composed and sung by Hesham Abdul Wahab and has lyrics penned by Shiva Nirvana, who also helmed the film. The song has been choreographed by Brindha Master.

The film also stars Rahul Ramakrishna, Saranya Ponvannan, Sharanya Pradeep, Sachin Khedekar, Murali Sharma, Lakshmi, Rohini, Jayaram and Srikanth Ayyengar in supporting roles. 

Kushi is Shiva Nirvana's fourth film after Ninnu Kori, Majili and Tuck Jagadish. While Kushi marks the maiden collaboration of Shiva and Vijay, Samantha has previously worked with the director in Majili

Kushi features a romance between a girl from an extremely religious family and a boy from an atheist family. The film opened to mixed to positive reviews. The film's Cinema Express review reads, "Largely, this film about an ideological clash offers little to reflect on—and this story about dreamy-love-leading-to-marital-distress creates little emotional resonance." 

Kushi is produced by Mythri Movie Makers, with music by Hesham Abdul Wahab, cinematography by G Murali, editing by Prawin Pudi and production design by Jayashree Lakshminarayan.
