We had previously reported about the teaser unveiling of MAD, Sithara Entertainments' upcoming film. The makers of the film have announced on Friday that their film will be hitting theatres on September 28.

It may be noted that the Prabhas starrer Salaar, directed by Prashanth Neel, is also releasing on the same day. The Vaccine War, Vivek Agnihotri's Hindi language film is also releasing on the same day in Telugu.

The film, mostly featuring newcomers, is also produced by first time producer Haarika Suryadevara, the younger sister of Suryadevara Naga Vamsi. MAD stars Narne Nithin, Sangeeth Shoban, Ram Nithin, Gouri Priya Reddy, Anananthika Sanil Kumar and Gopikaa Udyan. Seasoned actors Raghu Babu, Muralidhar Goud, Vishnu, Anthony and Srikanth Reddy essay supporting roles in the film. Filmmaker Anudeep KV plays a cameo. 

MAD is a campus comedy. The film is co-written by Praveen Pattu and Pranay Rao Takkallapalli. The key collaborators of the film include music director Bheems Ceciroleo, cinematographers Shamdat Sainudeen and Dinesh Krishnan,editor Naveen Nooli and art director Raam Arasavilli.
