On Friday, the makers of Siddhu Jonnalagadda's Tillu Square, the sequel to the 2022 comedy caper DJ Tillu, announced that the film will hit theatres on February 9, 2024. 

In the original, Siddhu stars as Tillu, a flamboyant DJ whose life turns upside down when his love interest Radhika (Neha Shetty) accidentally murders her fiance. The film turned out to be one of the few surprise hits of 2022.

Anupama Parameshwaran has replaced Neha Shetty in the sequel. The actor was considered for the role after many other actors had auditioned.  

While the original was directed by Vimal Krishna, Tillu Square is helmed by Mallik Ram. Sithara Entertainments is producing Tillu Square in association with Fortune Four Cinemas.

Sai Prakash Ummadisingu is the director of photography while Navin Nooli and Ram Miryala have returned to handle the editing and music departments, respectively for Tillu Square. The film will be presented by Srikara Studios.
