Samuthirakani's next to be helmed by Dhanraj Koranani

On Sunday, the makers of Samuthirakani's next announced that the actor has joined hands with actor Dhanraj Koranani for an upcoming Telugu-Tamil bilingual. The film will mark Dhanraj's maiden directorial venture. The film went on floors, on Sunday, with a pooja ceremony. 

Backed by Prudhvi Polavarapu Slate Pencil Stories, the upcoming film is tentatively titled Production No 1. Dhanraj will also be performing in the film as Samuthirkani's son. Additionally, the film also stars Harish Uthaman, Mokksha, Prudhvi, Ajay Ghosh, Pramodini, Lavanya Reddy, Chitram Sreenu, and Rocket Raghava round out the cast of this film. 

The principal photography will reportedly begin on November 9. Sivaprasad Yannala, the director of the recent Telugu film Vimanam, has penned the script for this film. The film's technical team includes music composer Arun Chiluveru, editor Marthand K. Venkatesh and cinematographer Durga Prasad. Prabhakar Aripaka will be presenting the film.
