The official trailer of Mangalavaaram has been unveiled on Saturday. The film is written and directed by Ajay Bhupathi, who has previously helmed the films RX 100 and Maha Samudram. Mangalavaaram stars Payal Rajput, Nanditha Swetha, Sritej, Chaitanya Krishna, Ajay Ghosh and Lakshman, among others. 

With minimal dialogue, the film indicates an eerie mood. We see a village under attack, where people are scared for their lives. A strange curse befalls the townsfolk and corpses begin lining up every Tuesday, which explains the title. There is also a message about how death will not be visited upon those who are virtuous. 

Mangalavaaram is produced by Swathi Reddy Gunupati and Suresh Varma. The film's dialogues are written by Tajuddin Syed and Raghav. Kantara fame composer B Ajaneesh Lokanath is the music director of the film. Dasaradhi Sivender is the cinematographer of the film, with editing by Gullapalli Madhav Kumar and production design by Raghu Kulkarni. The film will be releasing in multiple languages on November 17.
