The official teaser of Bharathanatyam, an upcoming crime comedy film, has been unveiled on Saturday. The film is the sophomoric directorial venture of KVR Mahendra, who has made his debut a couple of years ago with Dorasani. Bharathanatyam stars newcomers Surya Teja Aelay and Meenakshi Goswami. Surya, the son of acclaimed publicity designer Dhani Aelay, has also written the film. 

Surya Teja plays the role of a filmmaker who commits a mistake that changes his life. His paths cross with a gangster played by Harsha Vardhan. Bharathanatyam also stars Gangavva, Krishnudu, Temper Vamshi, Naga Mahesh, Tarzan, Manik Reddy, Shivannarayana, Sattana and Santosh Balakrishna. 

Bharathanatyam is produced by Payal Saraf under the banner PR films. Vivek Sagar is the music director of the film, with cinematography by Venkat R Shakamuri, editing by Ravi Teja Girijala and production design by Suresh Bhimagani. The film has finished shooting and is currently in post production. The makers are yet to announce the release date of the film.
