Appadappada Thaandra, a folk song from Mangalavaaram, has been unveiled on Tuesday. The song notably features Tharun Bhascker dancing. It is unclear if he is starring in the film or not. Tharun, who last starred and directed Keedaa Cola, which is currently running in theatres, has appeared in many films, including Skylab, Mahanati, Meeku Maatrame Cheptha, and Sita Ramam. This is the first time, however, he is seen dancing. Appadappada Thaandra is composed by Ajaneesh B Lokanath, with lyrics by Ganesh A and vocals by Rahul Sipligunj. Bhanu master has choreographed the song. 

Mangalavaaram is a horror film starring Payal Rajput, Nanditha Swetha, Divya Pillai, Azmal, Ravindra Vijay, Krishna Chaitanya, Ajay Ghosh, Shravan Reddy and Sritej, among others. The film is set in a village. Mangalavaaram is written and directed by Ajay Bhupathi. He has previously helmed RX 100 and Maha Samudram. He will be reuniting with his RX 100 teams for Mangalavaaram. This film is produced by Swathi Reddy Gunupati and Suresh Varma M under the banners Mudhra Media Works and A Creative Works. Sivendra Dasaradhi is the cinematographer of the film, with editing by Madhav Kumar Gullapalli and production design by Raghu Kulkarni. The film is scheduled to release on November 17.
