On Sunday, the makers of Vijay Deverakonda's 13th film, Family Star, released a new poster on the occasion of Diwali. In the poster, we see Mrunal Thakur, the film's female lead, and Vijay Deverakonda, lighting a firecracker together. 

Family Star is written and directed by Parsuram Petla. He is reuniting with Vijay after their last film Geetha Govindam (2018). Parsuram's last film was the Mahesh Babu-Keerthy Suresh starrer Sarkaru Vaari Paata, which came out in 2022. 

Family Star is produced by veteran producer duo Dil Raju & Sirish under the banner Sree Venkateswara Creations. Joining the film is Parsuram's Geetha Govindam music director Gopi Sundar. KU Mohanan is the cinematographer of the film, with editing by Marthand K Venkatesh and production design by AS Prakash.

 Family Star is scheduled to hit theatres on Sankranti 2024.
