The makers of Mangalavaaram announced on Friday that Allu Arjun will be gracing the pre-release event, which is set to take place on Saturday. Mangalavaaram is a horror film set in a village. The film stars Payal Rajput, Sritej, Nanditha Swetha, Sritej, Chaitanya Krishna, Ajay Ghosh and Lakshman. Mangalavaaram is helmed by Ajay Bhupathi, whose prior directorial credits include RX 100 and Maha Samudram. 

Mangalavaaram is produced by Swathi Reddy Gunupati and Suresh Varma. Tajuddin Syed and Raghav have penned the film's dialogues. B Ajaneesh Lokanath, who composed music for Virupaksha earlier this year is Mangalavaaram's music composer. The film's key technical collaborators include cinematographer Dasaradhi Sivender, editor Gullapalli Madhav Kumar and production designer Raghu Kulkarni. The film is scheduled to hit theatres on November 17. 

Allu Arjun is currently shooting for Pushpa: The Rule, which is scheduled to release on August 15, 2024. He has recently won the National Award for Best Actor (Male) for his role in the 2021 film Pushpa: The Rise. He has recently also gotten a wax statue of him unveiled at the Madame Tussauds Wax Museum.
