We had previously reported that NBK 109 would be helmed by Bobby Kolli. The makers of the film have announced that they have commenced the film's shoot while also unveiling a poster of the same on Wednesday morning. The announcement comes with a poster that shows a holy amulet striking asuras.

The film will be produced by Sithara Entertainment and presented by Srikara Studios. This will mark the actor's as well as the director's maiden collaboration with each other as well as the production banner.

Interestingly, Bobby Kolli and Balakrishna had different releases clashing during Sankranti 2023. While Balakrishna starred in Veera Simha Reddy, directed by Gopichand Malineni, Bobby had helmed the Chiranjeevi starrer, namely, Waltair Veerayya. Balakrishna's recent film Bhagavanth Kesari, directed by Anil Ravipudi, hit the theatres during Vijaya Dasami. NBK 109 will be Bobby's sixth directorial, after Power, Sardar Gabbar Singh, Jai Lava Kusa, Venky Mama and Waltair Veerayya. The producers will be announcing the rest of the cast and crew soon.
