The makers of Keedaa Cola announced on Sunday that their film has garnered collections grossing up to 9.72 crore rupees. The film officially released on November 3, though paid premier shows of the same were screening from November 1 onwards. Keedaa Cola, written and directed by Tharun Bhascker, stars himself along with Chaitanya Rao, Rag Mayur, Raghu Ram, Vishnu Oi, Jeevan, Ravindra Vijay and Brahmanandam. 

The film, a crime comedy, revolves around a group of people trying to make a windfall by placing a cockroach in a cola bottle and then suing the cola company for the same in the consumer court. Keedaa Cola is co-written by Shanthan Raj, Pranay Koppala and Ramya Kakumanu.

The film is produced by VG Sainma and presented by Rana Daggubati under the Suresh Productions banner. Tharun's frequent collaborator Vivek Sagar has composed the film's music, with cinematography by AJ Aaron, editing by Upendra Varma and production design by Ashish Teja Pullala.

The film opened to positive to mixed reviews. The CE review of the film reads, "The story leaves no breathing room, with the characters fretting more than feeling, convoluting more than connecting to the viewer. This ultimately leads to the style overtaking the substance, disconnecting the audience from the story."
