Anand Deverakonda's next is titled Duet 

The film stars Ritika Nayak as the female lead

Anand Deverakonda, who is awaiting the release of his upcoming film Gam Gam Ganesha, a crime comedy, has launched his next film Duet on wednesday. Ritika Nayak, who has made her debut in the 2022 Vishwak Sen starrer Ashoka Vanamlo Arjuna Kalyanam, is the film's female lead. Duet is her second film. Chennai-based filmmaker Mithun Varadaraja Krishnan will be directing the film. The makers have launched an interesting poster along with the title which shows the sun and the moon and a boy and a girl's lives superimposed upon them respectively. 

Sharing the news on social media, Anand Deverakonda writes, "A new beginning. A new film with a superb team. Looking forward to the shoot and present this beautiful story." The film's muhurtham pooja had Anand's family, including his brother, actor Vijay Deverakonda in attendance. Harish Shankar has sounded the clapboard for the ceremony, while Anand's parents Vardhan and Madhuri Deverakonda switched on the camera. Chandoo Mondeti directed the ceremonial first shot, while Anand's Baby director Sai Rajesh handed over the script along with Madhura Sreedhar Reddy to the film's team. 

Duet is produced by Neha Gnanavel Raja and G Dhananjayan under Studio Green. Madhura Sreedhar Reddy is co-producing the film. The film's shoot will begin this month. Filming will take place continuously in Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, Chennai, Odisha and the Maldives.
