The teaser of Happy Ending, the upcoming coming-of-age comedy, was unveiled on Saturday. The film stars actors Yash Puri and Apoorva Rao in the lead roles.

Others part of the cast include Ajay Ghosh, Vishnu Oi, Jhansi, Anitha Chowdhary, Harsh Roshan, Jiya Sharma, Vamsi Nekkanti, KLK Mani, Kamal Tumu and Swetha. Happy Ending is written by Naga Sai, while Kowshik Bheemidi has directed it.

The film is produced by Yogesh Kumar, Sanjay Reddy and Anil Pallala under the banners Hamstech Films and Silly Monks Studios.

The 37-second long teaser introduces us to the key premise of the film, which is set around an incident that takes place during the protagonist’s childhood. The protagonist, as a child, goes to a theatre to watch what is seemingly a soft porn film, only to get cryptically cursed by a god man that self control is all that he will have as an adult. The role of the god man is essayed by Pushpa-fame actor Ajay Ghosh. We see the confused child quickly transition to an equally confused adult, before the teaser closes with a closing slate with the words, ‘cursing soon’ that changes to coming soon.

Yash Puri is a former professional cricketer, who has also acted in Alanati Sitralu and Cheppalani Undi.

Happy Ending is cinematographed by Ashok Seepally, with editing by Pradeep R Moram and production design by Arvind Mule. Ravi Nidamarthy is the music director. A release date is yet to be announced.
