The first promo of BoyapatiRAPO, titled ‘First Thunder’, will be out on Monday. The film, starring Ram Pothineni and Sree Leela in the lead roles, is set for a Dusshera release on October 20 in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada. 

The first promo will be launched to commemorate Ram Pothineni’s birthday. The actor turns 35 this year. The film, billed to be a mass action entertainer, is written and directed by Boyapati Sreenivas, who is known for successfully helming films in this genre. The film also stars actor Prince Cecil in a crucial supporting role. 

BoyapatiRAPO is produced by Srinivasaa Chitturi under the banner Srinivasaa Silver Screen. The banner has also produced the recent releases Ugram, starring Allari Naresh and Naga Chaitanya’s Tamil-Telugu bilingual Custody.  SS Thaman is the music director of the film, with cinematography by Santosh Detake and editing by Tammiraju. 

Ram Pothineni last starred in The Warrior opposite Krithi Shetty. The film was a bilingual, directed by Lingusamy. Meanwhile, Sree Leela is currently the most sought after actor in the Telugu film industry, with her line-up consisting of films starring Pawan Kalyan, Mahesh Babu, Nandamuri Balakrishna, Vijay Deverakonda and Panja Vaisshnav Tej, to name a few.
