Bholaa Shankar, the upcoming film starring Chiranjeevi, is all set to hit the theatres on August 11. 

Billed as an action entertainer, the film is directed by Meher Ramesh. Bholaa Shankar is produced by Ramabrahmam Sunkara under AK Entertainments. The announcement poster features Chiranjeevi, Keerthy Suresh and Tamannaah Bhatia in traditional attire. Bholaa Shankar is a remake of Tamil actioner Vedhalam (2015) that starred Ajith Kumar in the lead role. 

In the upcoming film, Keerthy plays Chiranjeevi's sister. The film's cast also includes Sushanth, Raghu Babu, Murali Sharma, Ravi Shankar, Vennela Kishore, Tulasi, Sri Mukhi, Bithiri Sathi, Satya, Getup Srinu, Rashmi Gautam and Uttej, among others. 

The film has cinematography by Dudley, music by Mahati Swara Sagar and editing by Marthand K Venkatesh. The dialogues are written by Thirupathi Mamidala.
