Actor Angad Bedi, who is known for his roles in films like Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl and the series Inside Edge, will be making his south debut with Nani 30. The film stars Nani and Mrunal Thakur. Angad and Mrunal have worked together on R Balki's short in Lust Stories 2, which is set to release soon.

Angad will be joining the shoot soon and is currently doing the prep for the film. He recently flew down to Hyderabad to finalise his look test for the film.

A source close to Angad said, “He is preparing for his southern debut with Telugu movie Nani 30. It is one of the highly anticipated movies that's coming this year. One of the prime reasons for Angad making south Indian movies is because he wanted to try out movies which cater to different kinds of audiences.”

Nani 30 is said to be a story about a bond between a father and his daughter. The film will be bankrolled by Vyra Entertainments. The project marks the production house's first film.
