After celebrating the historic success of Naatu Naatu and RRR at the Oscars, it is back to business for actor Ram Charan.

The actor returned from the US to the shoot of Shankar's upcoming Telugu-Tamil bilingual, tentatively titled RC 15. Announcing his return to the shoot, Ram Charan shared a video featuring actor-filmmaker-choreographer Prabhudheva dancing with team RC 15 for the Academy award-winning Naatu Naatu number. He wrote, "Can't thank you all enough for such a warm welcome. Our Grand master Prabhudheva sir thank you for the sweet surprise. Feels great to be back at shoot #RC15."

RC 15 also stars Kiara Advani, who previously collaborated with Ram Charan in the 2019 film, Vinaya Vidheya Rama.

With music by S Thaman and cinematography by Tirru and Rathnavelu, RC 15, backed by Dil Raju, is billed as a political thriller and stars Anjali, Jayaram, SJ Suryah, and Sunil among others.

Naatu Naatu won the Best Original Song in the recently conducted Academy Awards, and became the first Indian song (from a film made by India) to win an Oscar. Another big winner on the Oscar night was the Netflix documentary, The Elephant Whisperers, which was directed by Kartiki Gonzalves and backed by Guneet Monga.
