The official teaser of Ravi Teja’s upcoming film, Ravanusura was released by the makers on Monday. The film also stars Sushanth, Sriram, Anu Emmanuel, Megha Akash, Faria Abdullah, Daksha Nagarkar, Poojitha Ponnada, Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma, Sampath Raj, Satya and Jaya Prakash in supporting roles. The film will hit theatres on April 7. Ravanasura is a crime thriller, with Ravi Teja essaying the role of a lawyer. 

The minute-long teaser gives us brief glimpses of the various characters of the film while giving us an elevated introduction to the film’s lead. Revealing little about the plot, Ravanusura shows a bloodied corpse of a girl, which will presumably steer the course of the film. Ala Vaikuntapuramulo-fame actor Jayaram plays the role of a police officer, assigned to solve the aforementioned murder case. 

Ravanusura is directed by Sudheer Varma, whose last directorial was the 2022 film Saakini Daakini. The film was a buddy-cop film that starred Nivetha Thomas and Regina Cassandra in the lead roles. Srikanth Vissa penned the story and dialogues of Ravanasura, with Sudheer writing the screenplay.  

The film is produced by Abhishek Nama and Ravi Teja under their banners Abhishek Pictures and RT Teamworks respectively. Harshavardhan Rameshwar and Bheems Ceciroleo composed the music of Ravanasura, with cinematography by Vijay Karthik Kannan and editing provided by Naveen Nooli.
