We have earlier reported that Tamil actors Arjun Das and Sriya Reddy will be joining the cast of the Pawan Kalyan action entertainer OG. The makers of the film on Thursday announced that Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi has joined the cast. With the announcement, the makers put to rest the speculations that the Sujeeth directorial was to cast a Bollywood actor as an antagonist.

OG also stars Priyanka Mohan as the female lead while Prakash Raj is set to be seen in a prominent role. OG is an action drama set against a Japanese backdrop. The film is currently being shot in Hyderabad, after wrapping a schedule in Mumbai. S Thaman is the music director of the film, with cinematography by Ravi K Chandran. OG is produced by DVV Danayya under the DVV Entertainments banner, which has also produced RRR. 

Emraan Hashmi joins the list of  Bollywood actors like Dino Morea, Saif Ali Khan, Bobby Deal, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Arjun Rampal — who have played villain roles in recent and upcoming films like Agent, Devara, Hari Hara Veera Maallu, Saindhav and Bhagavanth Kesari respectively. Interestingly, Jr NTR is heading to Bollywood to play the role of an antagonist in Hrithik Roshan's War 2.
