On Thursday, Prime Video announced that the Telugu film Anni Manchi Sakunamule will be available to stream on the platform from June 17. The film hit theatres on May 18 and opened to favourable reviews.

Directed by BV Nandini Reddy, Anni Manchi Sakunamule stars Santosh Sobhan and Malvika Nair in the lead roles. 

Set in the fictional town of Victoriapuram, the film follows the journey of two high-school friends, Rishi (Santosh Shoban) and Aarya (Malvika Nair), who are poles apart and are born into warring families. In spite of all the odds, the two fall in love and hope to get the families’ approval for their union. Filled with emotions, conflict, and hope, the movie unfolds Aarya and Rishi's endeavours to bridge the divide and have a happily-ever-after.

Billed as a family entertainer, the film also features Rajendra Prasad, Rao Ramesh, Ashwin Kumar, Naresh Gauthami, Sowcar Janki, Vasuki, Vennela Kishore, Ramya Subramanian and Anju Alva Naik.

Anni Manchi Sakunamule has cinematography and music by Sunny Kurapati and Mickey J Meyer, respectively. Anni Manchi Sakunamule is backed by Priyanka Dutt under Swapna Cinema and Mitra Vinda Movies. Divya Vijay has served as an executive producer.
