Actor Sriya Reddy, who was last seen in Prime Video series Suzhal: The Vortex, has joined the cast of the upcoming Telugu film OG starring Pawan Kalyan in the lead role, the makers announced on social media on Tuesday.

Reacting to the announcement, Sriya penned an emotional letter and revealed how she signed up for the film within five minutes of reading the script. "PK sir is such an amazing person with an incredible aura! His strength definetely lies in the warmth he exudes," the actor wrote.

However, the makers did not disclose her role in the film. Sriya's last Telugu project was the 2006 film Amma Cheppindi. The upcoming film also stars Arjun Das, Priyanka Arul Mohan, among others.

OG is directed by Sujeeth, who last helmed the 2019 Prabhas-starrer Saaho. The film is bankrolled by DVV Entertainment. Ravi K Chandran will be the cinematographer of the film, with music composed by S Thaman. Prakash Raj will appear in a prominent role.

The plot details of the film are kept under wraps. However, from the looks of it, the film is expected to be an action entertainer.

Meanwhile, Sriya Reddy has a couple of projects in her pipeline. While her Tamil film Andaava Kanom is set to release soon, the actor is also part of the upcoming big-budget Salaar. Starring Prabhas, the film is directed by Prashanth Neel.
