Gandeevadhari Arjuna, the upcoming Telugu film starring actor Varun Tej Konidela in the lead role, is set to release in theatres on August 25, the makers of the film announced on social media.

While making the announcement, the makers released a poster featuring Varun a suit, as he is shown holding a gun. In the backdrop, one can see bomb blasts on the horizon of a cityscape.

The upcoming film is Varun Tej’s 12th film as lead actor. Billed as an action entertainer, Gandeevadhari Arjuna is directed by filmmaker Praveen Sattaru, who last helmed The Ghost starring Nagarjuna in the lead role. Besides Varun Tej, the film will also feature Sakshi Vaidya who made her Telugu debut with Akhil Akkineni’s Agent.

The upcoming film is produced by SVCC banner, shot by cinematographer Mukesh and music is by Mickey J Meyer. The film went on floors in October last year in London. Gandeevadhari Arjuna’s post-theatrical rights are bagged by Netflix.

Meanwhile, Varun Tej was last seen in Ghani and F3: Fun and Frustration.
