The official trailer of Shaitan, an upcoming Telugu crime drama web series, was unveiled on Monday morning. Created and directed by Mahi V Raghav, who earlier made the Hotstar original series Save The Tigers, the upcoming series will premiere on Disney + Hotstar from June 15 onwards. While Save The Tigers was a comedy set around three hen-pecked husbands and their marital troubles, Shaitan is a complete departure of sorts for its creator.

The almost two-minute-long trailer shows us a group of serial killers who may or may not be related to each other, with a bunch of cops on the other end figuring out how to catch these serial killers. The trailer has expletives and graphic scenes, which may require viewer discretion. There is also a disembodied head of a man that makes an appearance a couple of times in the trailer.

Shaitan stars Rishi, Shelly, Ravi Kale, Deviyani, Jaffer Sadiq, Lenaa, Nithin Prasanna, Kamakshi Bhaskarla, Manikandan, Ravi Kumar, Aneesha Dama and Sanjay Krishna. Shanmuga Sundaram is the cinematographer of Shaitan, with editing by Shravan Katikaneni and production design by Rajkumar Murugesan. Sriram Muddury composed the music of Shaitan.
