On Sunday, the makers of Prabhas' Salaar released a BTS video from the sets of the film, on the occasion of director Prashanth Neel's birthday. 

A caption that keeps running throughout the video reads, "Armed with a pen and boundless creativity, a madman transformed his scribbles into scripts that transcended borders. Narratives were presented in ways that hadn't been seen yet. To one such madman, we wish a very happy birthday."

Salaar also stars Prithviraj, Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Easwari Rao, and Madhu Guruswamy in prominent roles. The film is backed by Hombale Films, the production house behind the KGF films and the recently released Kantara. Salaar has cinematography by Bhuvan Gowda, editing by Ujwal Kulkarni, and music composed by Ravi Basrur.

Salaar is set to release in theatres on September 28, 2023. The film's dubbed version will release in Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.
