Vimanam clears censorship formalities

On Friday, the makers of Vimanam announced that the film has passed censorship formalities with a U/A certificate. Directed by Siva Prasad Yanala is all set to hit theatres on June 9. The film stars Samuthirkani in the lead.

Also starring Anasuya Bharadwaj and Rahul Ramakrishna, Vimanam marks the comeback of actor Meera Jasmine. In a previous conversation with CE, director Siva Prasad revealed, "A young boy wishes to travel on a flight and asks his father to fulfil his wish. Whether or not this wish is fulfilled forms the rest of the story." 

Samuthirakani plays Veerayya, a disabled middle-aged single parent in the film. Vimanam is jointly produced by Zee Studios and Kiran Korrapati, under the banner Kiran Korrapati Creative Works. With music by Charan Arjun, Vimanam has cinematography by Vivek Kalepu and editing by Marthand K Venkatesh.
