We had previously reported that Dulquer Salmaan will be working with Sir director Venky Atluri for his next Telugu film. Sithara Entertainments, the makers of the film, took to social media on Friday to reveal the title of the project as Lucky Baskhar. 

The title announcement also comes with a poster/first look of the actor, where we see the bottom half of his face while the top part is covered with a flowy vintage rupee note. The foreground of the poster is also covered with the same, stylised flowy notes. 

The announcement was made on the occasion of Dulquer's 40th birthday. Venky is reuniting with his Sir music director GV Prakash Kumar for Lucky Baskhar. 

Lucky Baskhar marks Dulquer's third Telugu film after Nag Ashwin's Mahanati (2018), a biopic of yesteryear actor Savitri, and Sita Ramam (2022), helmed by Hanu Raghavapudi. Incidentally, Dulquer is one of the few other language actors who dubs for himself in Telugu, despite not speaking the language. More details about the film's cast and crew are yet to be unveiled.
