The release of Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty (MSMP), an upcoming feature starring Naveen Polishetty and Anushka Shetty, has been indefinitely postponed. The film was originally scheduled to release on August 4. Like most recent Telugu films which have pushed their release date ahead, delayed post-production work seems to be the case here. The delay though, might not be a long one. If speculations are to be believed, the film will probably release two Fridays after August 4, on August 18. 

MSMP, directed by first-timer Mahesh Babu P, is a romantic comedy between the actors Naveen Polishetty, who plays the role of a stand-up comic and Anushka Shetty, who is a chef. The romantic angle between these leads will tread the lines of the varied professions they come from, in addition to their age gap. MSMP is produced by UV Creations, with music by Radhan, cinematography by Nirav Shah and editing by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao.
