Ravi Teja to voice the 'voice' in Sivakarthikeyan's Maaveerudu

The film is helmed by Madonne Ashwin

The striking feature of the recently released teaser of Sivakarthikeyan's Maaveerudu, the Telugu version of Maaveeran, was the actor's quirky upward glance at an entity in the skies. The Madonne Ashwin directorial has a fantasy element to it, and it features a voice from the sky that only Sivakarthikeyan's Sathya can hear. While the voice has been revealed to be Vijay Sethupathi in Tamil, Ravi Teja is the voice in Telugu. The video reveal had him telling the tagline of the film, "Dhairiyame Jeyam."

Backed by Shanthi Talkies, Mahaveerudu is set to hit theatres on July 14. The Tamil version will also release on the same day.

Apart from Sivakarthikeyan, Maaveerudu stars Saritha, Mysskin, Aditi Shankar, Yogi Babu and Monisha. With cinematography by Vidhu Ayyanna, Maaveerudu has music by Bharath Shankar and editing by Philomin Raj.
