We have recently reported about the announcement /muhurtham pooja of VD 13, which is also being referred to as SVC 54. The makers of the film have recently wrapped the location recce of the film and will commence shooting very soon. The location recce took place in the US. The makers of the film made this announcement while releasing a picture of the film's producer Dil Raju and director Parsuram Petla with the film's team. 

VD 13 stars Vijay Devarakonda and Mrunal Thakur in lead roles. The film is Vijay's second project with Parsuram Petla after Geeta Govindam (2018) and the actor's first collaboration with Sri Venkateshwara Creations. The film will be made on a high budget. 

Gopi Sundar, who has also composed music for Geeta Govindam, will be reuniting with the Parsuram Petla and Vijay Devarakonda for VD 13. KV Mohanan is the cinematographer of the film with editing by Marthand K Venkatesh and production design by AS Prakash. Dil Raju and Shirish are the producers of the film.
