The shooting of Kushi, the upcoming Telugu film starring actors Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the lead roles, has been wrapped up, the makers of the film revealed on Wednesday. The film is slated for a theatrical release on September 1.

Sharing the update via Instagram broadcast channel from Viajy’s account, the makers revealed a video which hints like a wedding premise in a temple, with the lead actors bowing down for a greeting.

Backed by Mythri Movie Makers, the film is directed by Shiva Nirvana who last helmed Tuck Jagadish. Kushi will release in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. Kushi marks the second time Samantha and Vijay are collaborating after they first worked together in Mahanati. In the film, they portrayed supporting roles.

The film also stars P Murali Sharma, Jayaram, Sachin Khedakar, Saranya Pradeep, Vennela Kishore, and others. The music director for this multilingual film is Hesham Abdul Wahab.
