The first look poster of Runner, the upcoming film starring choreographer, most commonly known as Jani Master, was released by the makers on social media recently.

The film will be backed by Vijay Bhaskar, G Phanindra, and M Srihari under Vijay Damaruka Arts. Runner is helmed by debutant director Vijay Chowdhary.

A cop action drama, the film is expected to centre on father-son relationship against the background of the police department.

In a statement, director Vijay said, “I am extremely elated to be doing a film with the talented choreographer, whose acting talent, his characterization, and the sentimental scenes between the father-son duo will surely impress the audience. This is a distinct thriller movie.”

The technical crew consists of Mani Sharma as the composer and cinematography by PG Vinda. The film will go on floors on July 20 and is based on a few true incidents that happened in Hyderabad.
