Director Sukumar recently launched the trailer of the upcoming Telugu film, Rudramambapuram. Directed by Mahesh Bantu, the film is produced by Nanduri Ramu under the banner of NVL Arts. Rudramambapuram will stream on Disney Plus Hotstar on July 6.

While releasing the trailer, Sukumar mentioned Rudramambapuram as a tale of rooted people,  "Producer Nanduri Ramu has made 'Rudramambapuram' as the story of rooted people. The film explores the lifestyle, culture, and traditions of fishermen. It is based on certain true events. "

On elaborating on his expectation about the film, Sukumar added, "I am confident that it is going to be successful. I am glad to learn that Ajay Ghosh has provided the story. Raja Sekhar acted in all my movies. The trailer is quite interesting."

Written by Ajay Ghosh, the film stars  Arjun Reddy, Prameela, Ajay Gosh, Subhodayam Subbarao, Nanduri Ramu, Janardhan, Gemini Kiran, Vamsidhar Chagarlamudi, Shankar, Narasimha Murthy Raju, DV Subbarao, Allu Ramesh, Peddiraju, Rajani Srikala, Gaddam Rajani (Neelaveni), Polavarapu Ramani, and Ratnasri.
