Allu Arjun- Rashmika Mandanna starrer Pushpa: The Rise was a pan-Indian success and the makers wasted no time to announce the sequel to the film Pushapa: The rule.  

The leading lady, Rashmika has now revealed that she is all geared up to join the team for the second instalment. Reportedly, the actor will join the set in February.  

In a conversation with Film Companion Front Row, the actor expressed her excitement to rejoin the team. And the actor lauded the director, saying, "It is mind-blowing how Sukumar sir is coming up with these things because if you watch the first half, you just feel like that is the story itself. But the second part is something much more than the first part and that's something fabulous."

Apart from the leading pair, Fahadh Faasil will be reprising his role as Bhanwar Singh Shekawat, the prime antagonist in the sequel. The cast of  Pushapa: The rule also includes Sunil, Anasuya Bharadwaj, and Rao Ramesh. The period actioner has music by Devi Sri Prasad.

Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the film is poised for a theatrical release in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi in 2024.
