Butta Bomma gets a new release date

The release of Butta Bomma, the upcoming Telugu film starring Anika Surendran and Arjun Das, has been postponed from January 26, and will now hit the theatres on February 4, the makers announced on social media on Saturday.

The film was earlier scheduled to release on January 26. Butta Bomma is the official remake of Malayalam superhit, Kappela, which is about a telephonic romance between an auto rickshaw driver and village girl. The original film starred Anna Ben, Sreenath Bhasi, Roshan Mathew and others.

Backed by Sithara Entertainments, and Fortune Four Cinemas, Butta Bomma is directed by Shouree Chandrasekhar T Ramesh. Apart from Anika and Arjun, Navya Swamy and Surya are also part of the cast.

The technical crew consists of Gopi Sundar as the composer, with cinematography by Vamsi Patchipulusu handled the cinematography. The romantic thriller is edited by Navin Nooli, and Vivek Annamalai is the art director.
