Waltair Veerayya, the Chiranjeevi-starrer Telugu film which released in theatres recently, has entered the 100-crore club and collected Rs 108 crore at the world wide box office in three days, the makers announced.

The film released on January 13.

Also starring Ravi Teja in a prominent role, Waltair Veerayya also features Shruti Haasan, Bobby Simha, Sathyaraj, John Vijay and Catherine Tresa appear briefly. Waltair Veerayya is written by Kona Venkat and K Chakravarthy Reddy and directed by Bobby Kolli, with music composed by Devi Sri Prasad. The cinematography is by Arthur A Wilson, with editing by Niranjan Devaramane

The film, which is an out-and-out commercial entertainer, opened to positive reviews. “The way character dynamics between Chiranjeevi and Ravi Teja play out—mostly for humour and then to land one effective, moving moment—invigorates the film big time in the second half,” notes Cinema Express in its review.

Meanwhile, after Waltair Veerayya, Chiranjeevi will be next seen in Bhola Shankar, alongside Keerthy Suresh and Tamannaah Bhatia.
