From Bhola Shankar to SSMB28, 16 Telugu films to stream on Netflix post-theatrical release

Netflix on Saturday announced that 16 Telugu films will stream on the platform post their theatrical release as part of the licensed Telugu content slate for 2023. Marking the festivity of Sankranti, Netflix gave a glimpse at the 16 titles on their social media channels. 

Sharing details about the upcoming line-up, Monika Shergill, VP - Of content, at Netflix India shares, “Following the global success of RRR, Shyam Singha Roy and Ante Sundaraniki, we can’t wait to bring our new and exciting line-up of Telugu films to our audiences. The new slate brings a bigger offering of Telugu films across many genres and highlights the bounty of creative talent from South India."

She also added with the work that they do behind the scenes around dubbing and subtitles, these films will be made accessible to wider audiences across the globe.”

The list of films includes 18 Pages, Amigos, Bhola Shankar, Buddy, Butta Bomma, Dasara, Dhamaka, Kartikeya 8, Meter, Naga Shautrya's untitled film with director Pawan Basamsetti, Anushka Shetty's film with UV creations, PTV04, SSMB28, Tillu 2, VT12, and Virupaksha.
