The makers of Project K revealed the poster of Deepika Padukone on Thursday, marking the actor's birthday. 

The poster features Deepika's silhouette as she is standing on top of a rocky plateau at the backdrop of the rising sun. The tagline read, "A Hope In The Dark." Directed by Nag Ashwin, the film stars Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan. The film is currently in production. The buzz is that Prabhas and Amitabh will be seen as father and son in the film, while Deepika plays the latter's secretary.

Project K also reunites the Mahanati team of Nag Ashwin, cinematographer Dani Sanchez-Lopez and music director Mickey J Meyer. C Ashwini Dutt is producing the film under the Vyjayanthi Movies banner. 

Recently, the makers launched a making video series, 'From Skratch,' to give a sneak peek into the world of this sci-fi thriller and released the first episode, Re-Inventing the Wheel, that showed how the crew went the extra mile to create a sauve wheel.
