The Ravi Teja-starrer Dhamaka is nearing the glorious Rs 100 crore at the worldwide box office. 

On Wednesday, the makers announced that the mass action entertainer grossed Rs 96 crores at the worldwide box office in 12 days. 

The film hit the theatres on December 23 and the makers also noted that in the top grossers of the week, Dhamaka tops the list in Telugu states. Directed by Trinadha Rao Nakkina, the film has Sreeleela playing the female lead. Written by Prasanna Kumar Bezawada, Dhamaka is produced by TG Vishwa Prasad.

Dhamaka features Jayaram as JP, Sachin Khedekar as Nanda Gopal Chakravarthy, Tanikella Bharni as Vasudeva Rao, Pavithra Lokesh as Yashoda and Tulasi as Devaki. The film's technical crew includes cinematographer Karthik Ghattamaneni, music composer Bheems Ceciroleo and production designer Srinagendra Tangala. Meanwhile, Ravi Teja has a slew of films-- Ravanasura, Waltair Veerayya and Tiger Nageswara Rao.
