The announcement on actor Nani’s 30th film was made on Sunday. The team announced the cast and crew, with debutant filmmaker Shouryuv directing the film. The film will have Mrunal Thakur playing the female lead, as suggested by a few speculative reports earlier.
Nani 30 will be Mohan Cherukuri, Dr Vijender Reddy Teegala, and Murthy KS, under the banner Vyra Entertainment.
The makers released a video, unveiling the world of Nani 30. The video shows Nani sitting on top of a building and clicking photos while discussing with his on-screen daughter about his next project. Nani says he will be shaving his beard as well as his mustache which he grew for Dasara. The video hints that it will be an emotional family entertainer.
It is to be noted that Nani 30 will be the first film Nani and Mrunal will be working together. Mrunal earlier made her Telugu debut with Sita Ramam.
The video also introduces the crew of the film. Sanu John Varughese ISC will be handling the camera and this will be his third movie with Nani, after Jersey and Shyam Singha Roy. Popular Malayalam composer Hesham Abdul Wahab of Hridayam fame will compose the music with Praveen Anthony as the editor.
