We have earlier reported that Mirapakay will be released this coming Friday. Joining the Ravi Teja-starrer in theatres this February 24 is Ala Modalaindi.

Ala Modalaindi is all set to release again in theaters, on the day of its lead actor Nani's birthday.

Starring Nani and Nithya Menen, in her debut film, Ala Modalaindi is a story about two people who meet at a wedding and gradually fall in love, as they weather a series of misunderstandings and miscommunications. The film, directed by BV Nandini Reddy became a sleeper hit in the year of its release and soon enough, attained cult status. The film also stars Kriti Kharbanda, Sneha Ullal, Ashish Vidyarthi and Rohini Molleti in supporting roles.

Ala Modalaindi was remade in Tamil as Yennamo Yedho (2014), in Bengali as Olpo Olpo Premer Golpo (2014) and in Kannada as Bhale Jodi (2016).

Ala Modalaindi is produced by KL Damodar Prasad, with music composed by Kalyani Malik. Arjun Jena and Marthand K Venkatesh served as the cinematographer and editor of the film, respectively.

Ala Modalaindi was Nandini Reddy's debut directorial, who later went on to create a niche for herself in the Telugu film industry with her slice-of-life, female-centric, sensitive films, namely, Kalyana Vaibhogame (2016), Oh Baby (2019) and her upcoming feature, Anni Manchi Sakanumule.
