Veera Simha Reddy, Nandamuri Balakrishna’s latest Sankranti outing at the box office, will be available for streaming on Disney + Hotstar from February 23. The film drops on the platform at 6 pm on the aforementioned date. 

In addition to Balakrishna, the film also stars Shruti Haasan, Honey Rose, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Duniya Vijay and Naveen Chandra. Gopichand Malineni, who has earlier directed masala entertainers like Balupu (2013), Pandaga Chesko (2015), Winner (2017) and Krack (2021) has written and directed Veera Simha Reddy. The film is Gopichand’s first collaboration with Balakrishna and his third collaboration with Shruti Haasan, who starred opposite Ravi Teja in Balupu and Krack. 

Veera Simha Reddy is an action film with elements of family drama and revenge. Balakrishna plays a double role in the film, portraying the roles of father and son. The film is set in Istanbul, Turkey and Pulicherla, in the Rayalaseema region of Andhra Pradesh.

Veera Simha Reddy is produced by Naveen Yerneni and Ravi Shankar, under their banner Mythri Movie Makers. The music of the film has been composed by Thaman, with Rishi Punjabi handling the cinematography and Naveen Nooli, editing the film.
