The official teaser of Bedrulanka 2012, an ensemble comedy set around the 2012 doomsday prophecy phenomenon was released on Saturday. The film stars Kartikeya Gummakonda and DJ Tillu-fame actor Neha Shetty in lead roles. Bedrulanka 2012 is written and directed by newcomer Clax. 

The nearly two-minute-long teaser explores the happenings of Bedrulanka, a small town on the Godavari coast, and the comedy that ensues on the heels of the 2012 doomsday prophecy news breaking out. The teaser also shows us a romantic subplot taking place between Kartikeya and Neha. 

Produced by Ravindra Benerjee Muppaneni under the banner Loukya Entertainments, Bedrulanka 2012 also stars Ajay Ghosh, Satya, Raj Kumar Kasireddy, Srikanth Ayyengar, Goparaju Ramana, LB Sriram, Surabhi Prabhavathi, Kittayya, Anithanath and Divya Narni in pivotal roles.

The music of Bedrulanka 2012 has been composed by veteran music director Mani Sharma, with cinematography handled jointly by Sai Prakash Ummadisingu and Sunny Kurapati. The production design is done by Sudheer Macharla and editing is by Viplav Nyshadam.
