The teaser of Phalana Abbayi Phalana Ammayi, the upcoming romantic comedy starring Naga Shaurya and Malavika Nair, is set to release on Thursday, the makers announced while releasing a promo video.

The film, which is also referred to as PAPA, is directed by actor, screenwriter and filmmaker Srinivas Avasarala. He has previously directed critically acclaimed romantic comedy films like Oohalu Gusagusalade (2014) and Jyo Achyutananda (2016). PAPA also reunites Srinivas Avasarala with his frequent collaborator Naga Shaurya, who played the male lead in the former’s aforementioned directorial.

PAPA also marks the second collaboration of Naga Shaurya and Malavika Nair after Nandini Reddy’s Kalyana Vaibhogame (2016)

Set in the UK, PAPA is produced by TG Vishwa Prasad and Padmaja Dasari and co-produced by Vivek Kuchibhotla. PAPA will have its music composed by Kalyani Malik, another regular collaborator of Srinivas Avasarala. Sunil Kumar Nama is the cinematographer of the film, and Kiran Ganti is handling editing.
